Q. Do you have differentiated education system or program supporting students in RASARA?
It seems that the distinguished education system is the education of its own. Professors of RASARA teach basic knowledge and knowhow that professor have attained from real work place to make the theory and practical training which is learnt from class serve on the spot. When I worked at the first time as a staff of designer Kwak Hyun Joo, knowledges taught in RASARA comprising preparation for portfolio, basic sewing and needle working really helped me a lot and made me appreciate and surprised by the fact that instructions of the professors serve for my work in the real world. My understanding is that every professor of the RASARA has big passion for teaching, and that the level of satisfaction for class substantially depends on student’s attitude of mind because the professors are positive about teaching of knowledge if the students have passion for learning thereof.
Q. What would you advise to junior colleagues preparing for admission if you should say “this is a must”?
Messages I like to talk to potential merchandisers, designers, stylists and students preparing for start- up are “Reduce your sleeping hour”. The messages are aimed for students basically having passions and tenacity. If fashions are determined for future career, there will be lots of works to do. In this regard, a person who is sleep headed and gamesome cannot be a man of great caliber. I would be funny for me to say like that but it will be favorable if you can move forward as planned in between times and always keep sparkling eyes. Further, it will be preferable if you like to make friends. Unless we make friends of ours intentionally and discriminatorily, the friends will help us sometime. Always, please don’t be conceited but humble.
